Are you in the NT Minerals Sector?

Are you in this position?

Have you received a letter from the EPA, DPIR or the Australian Government asking you for additional information?

Or are you just starting out on your journey on writing a Mining Management Plan, Environment Management Plan, Notice of Intent or EPBC Act Referral?

Are you feeling lost, confused or frustrated?

Well, we're here to help.

We know the approvals processes and have worked closely with (and for) the government so we understand what they're after and what they're NOT after!

In fact, we've created a series of free products specifically designed to help you to get a better understanding of what it is that government needs.

Here they are:

  1. "Seven common mistakes when writing a Mining Management Plan... and how to avoid them" - it cuts out the waffle and talks in the real world of what the government wants. Check it out here.
  2. "The Art of Government Consultation" - a guide to help you better communicate with the government. Click here to download it.
  3. "6 ways to save money and time when writing a Mining Management Plan AND get better environmental outcomes" Click here to go straight to it.

We've also developed this nifty self-assessment tool to check that your Mining Management Plan is optimised to ensure your money and time is being spent effectively to ensure high quality environmental outcomes. Check it out here.

Mining Management Plan Health Check

One of the many services we offer to our NT minerals sector clients is a 'Mining Management Plan Health Check'. It's a step further than the self-assessment MMP Health Check List that we've also developed (check that out here).

Connect Environmental’s MMP Health Check is a simple way for you to get a clear picture of the effectiveness of your MMP. It provides an evaluation of systemic, legislative and process issues in your MMP. It highlights areas that are ineffective and high risk, that, if not addressed, could cost you a fortune to correct down the track. We analyse both short- and long-term factors so that you can maximise profitably and environmental sustainability.
